This place is a step back into a simpler time. Kind of like camping but with all the amenities you would want like a fresh comfortable bed, clean towels, a hot shower and over course hot springs. Also, if you're not aware, you'll want to keep in mind that this resort is clothing optional.
This is a beautiful hotsprings location run by really sweet people. But though it's always a treat to be on this land, and I always leave warmed by the sauna, the pools are a bit too tepid for my tastes, hence the 4 stars rather than 5. Honestly I'd be tempted to give it closer to 3.5 for this reason, but it's really beautiful in so many other ways... And perfect temps for summer!
I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Drove past acouple other Springs just to get here. Loved the 20 minute hike to get to the upper pools! Went on a Monday and we basically had the place to ourselves. Everything was super clean and they supplied all of Dr bronners you could dream of. Actually the happiest I’ve been in awhile, think I fell in love. Definitely becoming a member and would recommend to anybody! Free tea and oatmeal was a nice touch, too! Do yourself a favor and get out there!!
Warning: clothing optional. ...if that didn't scare you, go. It is like stepping into a time machine to 1970. I love the vibe here. Don't show up without reservations, though. You likely won't be able to swim without one as daily use is limited. Go in the summer to look through a telescope at night or watch the bats fly out of the orient mine at sunset. Rustic accommodations available. All bathrooms and showers are unisex.
I love this place. This was our first time going to a hot spring, but my wife and I will come back regularly. The people at this location are very friendly and made our first time a truly great memory. The fantastic views from this place just made it that much better. Although the girl at the front desk could be a little nicer, we still had a fantastic time.
